Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi,
I am Blackberry, I'm approximately 3 year old Lab/Pit Cross. I am still learning how to be a gentleman on leash, but I am trying really hard. I seem to enjoy other dogs company but just as visits. When food and bones become involved, I think I must protect them (this may encircle toys too). The rescue staff realizes this may be just pent up energy as it is mucky out and we aren't getting a lot of exercise but suggest I live in a home with no other dogs. I haven't been tested with cats yet but show little interest on lead. If I see them from my crate I bark and stamp my feet.
I love kids but I am energetic and jump up on them, I can get a little mouthy too, although rescue staff is working on me with that. Therefore at this point I am recommended with older children (7 and up or roughly) although I am getting better. I have been moved around a lot lately and just want a family in time for the holidays.....
