Hi, my name is Honey Bear! I enjoy spending time with my furry foster siblings playing tug-of-war and fetch. I also enjoy spending my time cuddled up with them or my foster human, especially on cold and rainy nights. I’m still working on some basic commands such as sit and lay down but I know I will get the hang of it in no time. I tend to be a little shy at first when meeting new people but I opened up very quickly asking for pets. I came from a family where kids were not kind to me so I prefer a home where there are adults only so that I know I won't get tugged on or teased. Honey Bear is a Catahoula Leopard Dog who weighs 56 lbs and was born approximately 10-27-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, please complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment.***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website.
