***Adoption Pending.***This is Zapfino. She is a 6 week old chihuahua mix. She will be ready for her forever home at 8 weeks. Zapfino is smart and sweet, curious and playful. As with all puppies, she will need a patient foster willing to work on potty and crate training. Due to her size, a home with children over 8 is required. A fenced in yard is preferred but not required. Zapfino has had to 2 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped, and will come with an spay contract to be completed within 6 months of adoption. If you think you would be the perfect forever home for Zapfino fill out the adoption application at  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp .  Zapfino 's adoption fee is $175 with a $75 spay deposit that will be returned with proof of spay.   All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered near Kansas City, MO and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
