Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Opal, a gorgeous female tortie-point siamese with a unique split-face marking. She is FeLV+, but otherwise in great health! She is four months old, spayed, and up to date on vaccines pending a rabies shot. She loves to cuddle with her sister and prior to her positive feline leukemia diagnosis would sleep in bed and curl up on the couch with her foster family. She is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly, and is just now learning to use her voice in typical siamese fashion and will vocalize around dinner time or when she wants your attention. Chin scratches are her favorite thing EVER, and she'll learn so far into your hand that she sometimes flops over on her side. She is not shy around new people, and adapted well to both our older cats and her young foster brother before we had to quarantine her due to her condition. She has never been around young children or dogs, and would do well in a family with children who will respect her boundaries, as she doesn't really enjoy being picked up. She does not typically bite, nibble, scratch or chew unless she becomes uncomfortable, which is very rare given her loving demeanor! Ideally we would like to see her adopted along with her sister, Carnelian, who is also FeLV+, or into a home with another FeLV+ cat or cats.
