Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Moose
Mastiff/American Bulldog Mix
Male
3 years old
78 lbs.
Hey friends! I’m Moose and I’m a big guy with a big personality looking for a big love with my forever family. If you’re up for super-sized fun and affection, read on for more about me!
I’m a happy guy who spends a lot of time smiling, loves my people and bonds to them quickly. Sometimes I forget how big I am and try to crawl up in my foster dad’s lap for snuggles. I’m such a fun “work from home” companion and mostly just lay by your feet and keep you company (but once in a while, I’ll nuzzle in for some love throughout the day!) Not to brag, but I tend to win over the hearts of everyone I meet with my goofy and quirky personality!
My favorite place to be is napping with my people but every so often I do get the zoomies and like to take off, running and playing. I love playing tug with my rope toy and fetching balls and sticks. My foster dad says it’s pretty funny watching a big guy like me zoom around.
I do struggle with politely meeting new dogs on and off leash and I am STRONG so I need to be the only dog in the home. I also need an adopter who can help me avoid meeting dogs on walks and is willing to help me learn to be more relaxed when I see dogs overall. I’ve been working with a trainer and have made lots of progress. I’m SO eager to learn and just need a human to help me thrive! Due to this, I won’t be a candidate for an apartment living situation and it’s very important that I have a 6ft fence in the entire backyard. I also have some reactivity to men who come into my house without a proper introduction so I need a home where someone either doesn’t have a ton of visitors coming over or someone who can just let me meet a male visitor properly first. I am WONDERFUL with men in general-just a random visitor who walks in the door can be overwhelming to me.
I’m overall a happy, playful, cuddly guy who just wants to love. I will be such an awesome companion! If you’d like to learn more about me, please visit PawsCo’s website at www.pawsco.org to fill out an application or email adopt@pawscoadoptions.org for more information about me!
