Found as a thin stray by animal control, no one claimed this handsome boy. He likes treats and takes them gingerly; likes to play fetch with a frisbee/ball; is a little unsure of new people, but warms rather quickly with toys and treats. He is a resource guarder with his toys. He is unsure about bring touched until he gets to know someone. He needs someone with patience and understanding of the German Shepherd breed to allow him to come out of his shell. NO KIDS, CATS, OR SMALL DOGS; FENCED YARD REQUIRED; VET'S REFERENCE REQUIRED

We charge a non-refundable pet adoption fee (**unless otherwise stated in description***) via cash, check, credit card, or PayPal. The pet has been given initial medical care at a participating veterinary clinic and has had full-service medical care while in the care of GRR.

We require adopter to sign and abide by an adoption contract. We would be happy to send you a copy of the application for your review.

Go meet their pets

All of our adoptable animals are either in a foster home or in boarding. If you would be interested in setting up a meet-'n-greet we would first require a vet reference (where we call a past or present vet to verify all animals have been up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm prevention ). We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 10 years of age, and most of our dogs require a fenced yard.
