Simba has an amazing story. For two weeks reports were coming in of a kitten that would crawl under a fence from a pasture on the side of a busy road every day at 5:00 and play on the sidewalk and catch bugs and play with garbage and then disappear again. Everyone talked about this kitten, but no one got him to safety - but like clockwork he appeared every day at 5:00. When we learned of him - we headed right over at 5:00 and there he was - watching traffic and playing with bugs. It was almost like he was waiting for the people that dumped him there to come back and get him. I set the trap right where he went under the barbed wire fence and he smelled the yummy food and I had him in 5 minutes. As soon as he realized he was safe and was going to be warm and fed he just started purring. He snuggled immediately and just wants to be kissed and held and told he is safe.
He isn't real sure how to play with other kitties yet, but he is learning and doing a great job. He is perfectly litter trained and a perfect gentleman. He has NO desire to go outside and just wants a calm, loving family that will never dump him in a field again.
He is neutered, tested, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and received a 30 day flea treatment. His adoption fee is $100. Please apply to adopt at www.maricats.com.
