My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cathy is a two and one half year-old spayed, declawed female cat with a beautifully soft short-haired coat who needs a loving, sympathetic single-cat home. She came to her current home a little less than a year ago when neighbors told them that a female cat with a huge hole in her stomach area had been hanging around their deck for three days. These kind people rescued her, took her to a vet who said that she, the vet, had never seen such a botched spaying job and although the vet thought that Cathy should be put to sleep, the vet agreed to treat her. She was sent home with antibiotics and pills to be given twice a day. Within two weeks, Cathy had recovered.
Her adopters believe that in her former life she has not been treated fairly which because of lacking her front claws has caused Cathy to feel she needs to protect herself by nipping. She nips when she is afraid but since being with these kind people, she has developed into a loving companion. Unfortunately, 3 of their other 6 cats do not care for Cathy which upsets the household and Cathy must find a home with someone who will let her roam the house, curl up on the couch beside them or sleep on the foot of their bed. She is very loving once she knows that she will not be teashed, hurt, or yelled at. She is a remarkably beautiful cat who deserves a home with a quiet household. To meet Cathy and perhaps take her to her forever home, call Donna at (410) 392-3816 or Jan at (410) 275-1331.
