My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Augie is a sweet confident little dog who walked in his foster home like he owned the joint, not concerned about the curiosity of his two foster dog siblings, who are two to three times his size. Augie is a small 16lb boy, who is curious and friendly, and loves to sit and cuddle up with people but also chases balls and play with toys. We are working on sit and stay and taking treats gently, and he walks nicely on a leash.

Augie is heartworm positive but his heartworm treatment expense is covered by Epic Animal Rescue.  It requires a visit to Epic's vets for Augie to receive a shot, and Augie will then be required to be kept calm and inactive, so the meds can do its thing.  To learn more about Augie and apply to meet him, please complete an adoption application at epicanimalrescue.org and his foster mom will be in touch. The adoption fee is $275.
