JAN. 24, 2021 PUPDATE: ALL PUPS FROM THIS LITTER ARE HEALTHY, HAPPY, GROWING LIKE CRAZY AND CURRENT ON VACCINATIONS. AT THIS TIME THE ADOPTABLE PUPS FROM THIS LITTER ARE JOEY(CURRENTLY ON A 3 DAY SLEEPOVER WITH A PRE-APPROVED FAMILY, TROOPER AND XENA.
11/23/20: We pulled this litter of seven 7 week old puppies from a Shelter who were brought in by their Animal Control Officer at 4 weeks of age, having been abused -- burned, cut, stabbed and kicked. The Shelter still has the Mama and we pulled the Babies once they were healing. They all received their first puppy shots on 11/18/20. The Shelter did a fantastic job caring for these Fur Angels and they each deserve to live in a safe, loving, caring, furever homes.
NOV. 27 PUPDATE/APPROX. 8 WEEKS OLD: Most pups had parvo virus and have been treated by our vet hospital for 2 weeks. The HEALTHY pups are being listed separately. They are growing in size and personality!.
We can see in the mix are: XENA and ROSA, two female lab/terrier mixes; TROOPER and JOEY, two male dobie/lab mixes; AXEL, a male black lab/border collie mix; DAKOTA, a male german shepherd mix; and CAMPBELL, a male hound mix (white and red) who was not part of the original litter but has been with them for weeks and did not contract parvo. These pups, along with our other puppies and dogs are being cared for here at Puppy Dog Ranch, our Las Cruces home rescue & sanctuary. We are currently on lock down with very limited hours and have only profiled our pups available for adoption as of 12/11/20.
Our adoption requirements will require each dog at time of adoption to receive any vaccinations due and to be microchipped. At the appropriate age of 5-8 months for females and 4-6 months for males, to be spayed or neutered, and providing PDR proof of such. We also require a fenced yard with locking gate. Families with children -- due to the trauma and pain these pups have endured, children must be over the age of 8.
Please contact Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue & Sanctuary for more information and an adoption application. Our hours are very limited and appointments are usually Saturdays for an outdoor meet n greet. You must be pre-qualified for adoption prior to a meet n greet and a subsequent 3 day sleepover.
Please call Laurie West at (474) 313-7232 with questions or to request an adoption application to be emailed to you. Email: puppydogranch@rocketmail.com www.facebook.com/puppydogranch.
