Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sam and Susie are both six years old; Susie was borne January 31, 1999 and Sam was borne March 1, 1999, and are both very mellow dogs.
Sam likes to sleep, eat, sleep, go for short walks, eat, sleep, play with his toys and sleep and eat. He does not like loud noises like thunderstorms or firecrackers. He is also very shy of strangers and takes his time getting to know someone new, but is always willing to make a new friend.
Like most bassets, Sam will be your friend forever if you will rub his tummy, and will talk to you when he thinks he has something to say. He likes air conditioning and staying cool.
Susie loves her walks and likes to meet strangers, and will cuddle up with anyone. She will beg if she thinks you might give her a bite of food. Susie also likes her sleep time and she will curl up in your lap if you let her, or in a nice, warm place with sunshine.
Both these dogs love each other and depend on the others' company. They are well versed in traveling and love to go on family vacations. Both Sammy and Susie are house broken and no longer chew on unacceptable items.
