My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bramble, a 2.5-year-old handsome boy. He’s a big, friendly softie, with a powerful, muscular build (like a mini jaguar!) and a big plush tail he carries high in the air. He has a very regal bearing. Bramble loves to spoon in bed (or tent under the covers) and will flop over and give you some awesome, fully stretched-out belly-action, with deep purrs. He’s a big head-butter, for what it’s worth (his head, not yours). Bramble is very friendly to strangers — his current human had a pre-covid work meeting in the living room with 12 people in a circle and Bramble just plopped right down on the floor in the middle of everyone. He’ll head-butt, in a friendly way, the legs of anyone that gets close. He never scratches or bites, and almost never meows.

Bramble has excellent house manners; he’s fully litter-trained, and there’s never been a single accident in his history! Sometimes Bramble can be moody, but only to the extent of getting attention on his schedule. He does love those scritches! Bramble is an independent fella tho and doesn’t like to be forced into anything (Who does? But, this could be problematic for young children who have a hard time understanding this cat trait). He is not particularly curious nor super playful — on the one hand, he’s not going to be jumping up on your kitchen counter, but also, he'll look at a rolling ball with indifference. He’s too grown up for that nonsense! Lol.

Bramble has been fully vet-checked and is up-to-date on shots.

Bramble, and his sister Rose, came to their current human at 6-months of age, from a very nice home in San Anselmo, Marin. Their current human is moving to the North Coast to a house that, unfortunately, doesn’t allow pets. Bramble and Rose do not need to be re-homed together.

If you are interested in meeting Bramble (and/or Rose!), please contact Debbie at Jake’s Place for more information 415-548-0824.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.

The Adoption Fee for this cutie is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days.
