My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tater! This good looking buddy is a beautiful sweet potato color, and he has GORGEOUS amber eyes! Pictures do not do this boy justice. Tater always has a smile on his face too--his little mouth is always curled up and happy.

Tater has a sensitive, sweet little heart. He is gentle and timid, but still affectionate, energetic, and happy. Though he is a large boy, Tater seems to still be so conscientious and careful. He steps lightly and is a gentle soul. He is a curious mixture of happiness and calmness. He is a young boy and loves to play, but very calm like an old man haha!

At about 3 years of age, he is still young enough to do lots of playing, bonding, and learning; but no puppy-nonsense from this guy!

He loves to play with other dogs and does great with children. Tater would do very well in a home with babies or toddlers. He does well in the car, at the vet, and during baths. Tater is very smart and knows many commands. This boy has already had some training! He is already crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, and loads into the car.

He is UTD on his shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and is negative for all intestinal worms. Clean bill of health for this boy!

Tater was originally rescued with his brother in Holden, LA. His face was so swollen from insect bites, that his eyes were sealed shut and he could not see. He is a perfectly happy dog now and is ready for a new family of his own. Everyone remarks how beautiful and sweet he is wherever he goes!

Tater will make a wonderful companion for someone! This GORGEOUS little guy is ready for his forever home! Email for more pictures!
