My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof! Hello there. My name is Turbo and I'm a sleek and shiny border collie boy. My foster family took me to the vet so I'm all up to date on shots and am neutered. The vet guesses I am 1.5 -2 years old and I weighed in at 45lbs.

I love to run around the yard and play tag with my dog foster siblings. If you have a dog friend or two I'd love to meet them! I also LOVE to ride in the car and sit nice for my foster mom while we explore. I am a smart boy and have learned Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Off, Go to Bed, Outside, and Leave It. Because I am on the taller side, foster mom said I'm not allowed into the kitchen because there are tasty snacks on the counter. I respect her wishes and she gives me lots of 'good boy treats'.

My favorite place to nap is my crate and I sleep there at night. It's my safe place and I keep it nice and tidy. I also like to snuggle up on the couch if that's an option. I never learned how to walk on a leash but I'm learning. I like to go for walks with my hoomans and explore the neighborhood. Chasing small critters (SQUIRREL!) is super fun! I chase everything small, including cats, small dogs, and little children so it’s better if these small creatures are not in my environment.

My perfect FURever home would have at least one playmate for me to play with and snuggle. I can do that FOREVER… and ever… and ever! I also like to wrestle but foster mom says I’m still learning how to not play too hard. She says it’s important for me to have a dog playmate that can keep up with me and teach me new things. I’d be okay as an only dog but I’d need an outlet for all my energy. Maybe we could try agility or fly ball!!!??? It would be great to end each day tired.

Ready to adopt me? I promise to look super cute in bandanas and be your best friend!
