HAS THE SWEETEST PERSONALITY

DATE:  NOV. 21, 2020

Patches is a DMH white and black, neutered male, DOB ~2008

Patches hopes you won't overlook him because he has been on this earth for a few years. At the age of 11 years old, Patches suddenly found himself without a home. We could see that he had lived a difficult life. His right ear is permanently deformed by multiple hematomas caused by years of ear infections. Patches has been on a month-long course of treatment for his ears and is feeling much better now.  Upon arrival at our shelter, it was discovered that Patches is FIV positive.  Currently, he shows no symptoms of illness due to this virus and should, hopefully. have a number of good years ahead of him. FIV is not easily transmitted except by deep bite wounds from fighting.  Patches has the sweetest personality.  He loves a good conversation and frequently interjects with his own observations.  He is a snuggly cat who appreciates a gentle grooming for his medium length coat. The black patches on a white background clearly show how he got his name. Patches should go to a home without other cats.  He is gentle and cuddly with people of all ages. Patches is also available for long-term foster.  If you are looking for a buddy while you are working from home, Patches is ready to be your office assistant.

NOTE: All animals are spayed/neutered as soon as practical after arriving at our facility unless there is a medical issue that may cause a delay or they are too young to be spayed/neutered.
