My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clementine is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Clementine came from a fast kill, small-town dog pound. She is an English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier Bulldog mix, maybe around two or three years of age. Her personality is more like an English Bulldog and potential adopters must have experience with the breed. Clementine is very sweet and loves to give kisses. She loves playing with toys and running around the yard like a little Rhinoceros. Clementine is small, strong, heavy, and compact. Clementine loves people, but she is a bruiser and she is too much for very small children and even some adults. Clementine is good with puppies, most small dogs, and young submissive dogs. Some of our female dogs are scared of her. Clementine must be the alpha and she does best with submissive males. She definitely does not get along with other alpha females. Clementine has a short bulldog snout and must be inside in the air conditioning during hot weather. Clementine is crate trained, but we have not been able to have her loose in the house because of our other female dogs. Clementine walks well on a leash and loves to ride in a vehicle. She needs additional obedience training. Clementine absolutely must have a securely fenced yard. If she escapes, she will run off and explore. She loves riding in a vehicle and will jump in any vehicle she sees. Clementine must be inside as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and must have a securely fenced yard to run and play.

Clementine is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Clementine is positive for heartworms and will need to be treated before she can leave for a new home. A home check may be required. Clementine has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport via Rescue Road Trips for pickup in Zanesville Ohio. She is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after she is adopted. Please contact 2 Many Dogs Rescue for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting Clementine.
