Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We bought Dexter from a breeder but we were never looking to breed him ourselves. I owned a rescued Havanese before and love the breed. He's now five years old. First, Havanese dogs rarely shed their fur unlike most dogs. You will find the occasional strand here or there. Second, they are very friendly and energetic but not to the point where they need constant attention. Dexter is also quite smart and will let us know when he needs to go outside to potty. He does know several commands like sit, up (stand), shake, down, and sometimes roll over. He's not a submissive dog so he only rolls over when he feels like it. Dexter is trained to sleep in his kennel but of course prefers to sleep at the foot of our bed. Storms do make him anxious as do other loud noises like fireworks. He is probably better suited for a home with a fenced yard. He doesn't run away but he enjoys running around. My wife and I lived in several condos and found daily walks to be more than enough for his energy.
