My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baxter. He is a 2 year old Beagle. He is crate trained, house trained, neutered and current on vaccinations.

Baxter is a very friendly boy. He loves to be doted on. He enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash.

Baxter is a playful, energetic boy. He will need an active owner/family to keep him occupied. Potential adopters should be familiar with the Beagle breed. They get bored easily and need toys or something to keep them busy.

Baxter will need a secure fenced yard at least 5 feet high to play in. His previous owners did not have a fence and he kept leaving to find fun things to do. They finally got tired of having to bail him out of doggy jail and he was surrendered to a shelter in his rural area.
