Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Katee, a full-figured girl with a glossy black and white tuxedo coat. Katee seems much like the lead character in the Broadway Play “Mame.” She has big ideas about what she likes and dislikes, she lets you know what she thinks, and she certainly seems to likes things her way. In other words, Katee is loaded with personality! When she and I went to see the Vet, Katee hopped up on the bench next to me, and reached out with her paw to touch my shoulder to remind me that she was there and wanted to say something. There’s no forgetting that Miss Katee is in the room!
Katee came to the Animal Refuge League with a corneal ulcer on her right eye. Katee has been a model patient as she has visited the Vet a number of times, sat through daily eye meds, and didn’t complain. As long as the food kept coming, Katee was very content. As you can see, she and I didn’t stick to her Weight Watcher’s Plan. Now that the ulcer in her eye has healed all but for a little scar tissue, her next project will be her waist line. Or at least that’s what I’ve told her. Katee’s not so sure that’s a good idea!
Katee loves to be petted, and rolls over so you can pet all of her tummy. She enjoys the company of people, and follows me around as I did chores. When my chores are done, Katee is excellent company as I read a magazine or watch a movie. She likes to perch along the back of the sofa. Katee ignores our dogs and they give her a wide berth. Katee is not very friendly with our cats, and would probably do best as the only feline in her new home.
Katee eats adult dry and canned cat food. If you could ask her, she’d insist that she really didn’t need any dry food. Her “passion” is canned cat food. Katee enjoys an inclined cardboard scratching box, and has perfect litter box manners. Katee will make a memorable addition to any cat-loving family.
