Meet Darling Dolly! This adorable girl can't wait for her perfect home! She is truly a DOLL!
Dolly is a young at heart almost 10 years old piebald doxie with exuberance galore! She has a very happy personality and loves everyone - men, women, children, dogs, cats. She is energetic, walks great on leash, potty trained (although like most doxies, needs a bit of coaxing when it's raining) and is not a barker. Currently she weighs 24 lbs. but is on a weight management plan to shed those extra pounds -- she is food and treat motivated and with those big beautiful eyes, she will try to get a bite or two more.
Dolly loves having a fenced yard, canine companionship, lots of snuggles, smooches are a must as well as sleeping in the human bed and going on adventurous walks. Her gentle heart responds to positive fear free praise and encouragement. Dolly wants nothing more than being a part of your family, included in your activities and sharing life's joy.
The following criteria is Dolly's best home -
1. Single family owned residence (no apartments or townhomes/condos)
2. Canine companionship similar in age and energy level
3. Active walkers who enjoy hikes, adventures and exploring
4. Dog savvy cats (not mandatory)
5. Work from home, early retirees, work part-time, stay at home
6. Fenced and secure yard
7. Older kids 10 years of age and older
8. Breed knowledge with experience
