My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An interview with a Bunny:
1) Name: Poppy

2) Favorite activity with hoomins: I've never had hoomins of my own! I've spent my whole life at the Rabbitat! Seriously I was born here!! I do like to play! Maybe a playful hoomin with fun toys!!

3) Ideal housing: Wow! Anything I want?!? I would like lots of space and places to hide and things to chew on and toys to play with and and and I don't know it's just too much!!!

4) Ideal Hoomin/Family:
Well as long as they are nice and promise to love me forever I've heard some of the bunnies have had lots of different families but I only want one! Will you be my first and only furever hoomins!!
Please!!!

5) Relationship status: Single looking for a best friend.

* Poppy and his brother and sisters were born at the Rabbitat the night after mom Mabel was dropped off at the Rabbitat
Poppy and his siblings were quite a surprise! Mom Mabel was dropped off at the Rabbitat late one day, a volunteer got the pudgy bunny settled into her new space fed her and left for the evening. The next day a volunteer had found out that Mabel had gotten out of her cage and after a quick look around discovered her nesting box and four perfect babies!

*All single bunnies need a friend before going to their furever home. Poppy would love to meet your bunny!! Or he will be listed as bonded if he finds a friend here.

Bunnies live an average of 10 years but it could be up 16 or even longer! Bunnies generally do not like to be held or handled as prey animals it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around and play, and regular vet appointments just like a dog or cat. Please do your research before adding any critter to your family, we are happy to answer any questions you may have and help you decide if a pair of bunnies is right for you!
