My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tofu is a big 3 year old male Golden Retriever mix who recently arrived in the US from Turkey. He’s been great with settling in and getting acclimated in his new foster home. Tofu is potty trained, knows how to ‘sit’ and loves to be a giant big lap dog when he gets tired and jumps on the couch with you. Though he is tall enough to reach the counters, he’s been very respectful of not grabbing food. He will bark a bit when new person comes into the house, but then wags his tail and wants all the loving once he realizes they’re his new best friend…and he seems to love everyone he meets. He is a very high energy dog and loves to be outside – he would run around in a big, secure backyard or go on walks all day long if he could! He’s great on leash with people and other dogs, but thinks squirrels are fun to chase. Everyone that’s met him so far, falls in love. We’re still learning more about Tofu and what he’s looking for in a forever home, so check back for more updates!

Note: Tofu would work best in a house with children over the age of 7.
