“Hi, my name Athena and just like the Greek Goddess, I am powerful, stunningly gorgeous and demanding of your attention! I like to think I am just like Athena since I don’t really know where I came from. My first owners surrendered me to a kill shelter and I am not sure why, I am supposed to be everyone’s favorite female warrior! I am lucky that Friends for Life saw my potential for greatness hours before I was to be euthanized.

It’s no surprise that I like attention. I am the reason black cats have the stereotype of being talkers! I will let you know when I want pets, playtime or food by doing my excited dance and meowing as loud as I can. I want to make sure you can hear me! Even though I am a talker, I can be a good listener. If you need someone to chat with, vent with or laugh with after a long day, I am that companion!”
