Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nanna is a lovable Golden Retriever. She was a breeder and is socialized. She loves your attention and ability to give belly rubs. She's pretty easy going and loves to play with her tennis balls. She can fit two of them in her mouth at the same time! She gets along with other dogs but doesn't need a canine friend. She has been around children. She can not go to a home with cats. She had an entropic eye which has been corrected with surgery. We were disappointed to learn that she is heartworm positive. Her treatment will take around 2 months. She can be leash walked but no strenuous exercise. Nanna can go to a qualified foster to adopt home during her treatment time if there are no other dogs that would cause her to be overactive. Costs of her treatment will be covered by Dirks Fund and will be done at our vet in Pacific. She does require at least a 4 foot fence.
Nanna is 6 years old. Her current weight is around 80 pounds.
The minimum donation for Nanna is $500.00. This includes all of her vetting. If you are interested in Nanna, please fill out an online application through our website.
We are currently only open by appointment only. Due to the recent pandemic, we are looking at the safety of our volunteers that are there to take care of the dogs. Only serious inquiries will be considered.
Then meet her at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, a home visit will be done prior to adoption.
