My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy was rescued the end of March from Florida. He was abandoned, and a friend notified me about him. He is up to date with shots, flea & tick, Heart worm meds. I had chewing issues for a while, and he did some damage. But he loves sticks, so that helped. Still have to keep an eye on him though. He's going on 11 months old according to the vet's. He weighs around 95 lbs. He will dig holes. I have never had him off leash. He would do well in a fenced in yard which I cannot afford. I'm retired and have neck, back and knee issues. Sammy is not aggressive. He does get over excited when he sees people and other dogs. He's just a big baby that wants to play, and is more than I can handle at times. He can be stubborn, but I think mostly because he wants to do more than I am capable of. I spend hours each day walking him, but I don't think it's enough. My live in partner can be negative at times. Not mean, but negative. Sammy doesn't need that.

I just want what's best for Sammy.
