Here's what the humans have to say about me:
River Maid is a beautiful 5 year old small brindle female who came up from Monticello along with Wednesday. Since she has been here, she has really opened up and is overcoming her shyness. She has just started to play with stuffies, and loves throwing them into the air. She is house broken when in a home with a fenced yard. As we don't have one, she is learning to do her "business" on the end of a leash. She gets along well with children as well as our dogs. She is very sweet and we already love her to pieces. She will make a greyt addition to a lucky family!
Notes: Dark brindle female, Cat safe, - DOB: 11/2000
We place "fresh from service" greyhounds into a foster home for a minimum of three weeks to ease the transition from living in a kennel to living in a home. During that time, each of our greyhounds receives a thorough veterinary exam that includes shots, heartworm testing, micro-chipping, teeth cleaning, and spay/neuter.We then test to see if the greyhound is cat-safe, small dog-safe, and child safe. We want these greyhounds to succeed in their new homes.
