Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This tiny 6-year-old girl is Ebony. She was rescued as a 6-week-old kitten by her mom & she was a "mama's girl". Sadly, the only mom she ever knew passed away & she came to us confused, scared, in grief & lashing out at the world. She literally cried for days breaking her foster mom's heart. We were worried that she'd never come around but with time, love & patience her foster mom broke through to her & helped her realize that there was goodness & safety even with her mom no longer with her. Her foster ended up falling so much in love with her that she wanted to make Ebony her own. Unfortunately for Ebony the resident cats wouldn't accept her. Another perfect mom lost! We have a home we dream of her going to. A retired woman or someone home most of the day is what Ebony is used too & what would work best for her. No kids or a lot of people coming & going. Someone who'd be like her foster mom & give her all the time she needs to show who she really is & won't give up on her. She'll probably be scared again during the adjustment but hopefully not as bad. She does need someone committed; we don't want her bouncing around. She'd probably be ok with another cat or dog as long as they were mellow. She had a huge Wolf dog at one time that she loved & would snuggle with. Think your heart & home have a place for her? She's spayed & vaccinated. Must be kept indoors only with no doggy door.
