My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slate is a beautiful blue boy.  He is 10 years old but doesn’t act his age.

He loves people; he splits his time on the couch with my husband and me.

Slate is easy to have around and care for.  He is a good eater.  He is not crated when we leave the house and has never been destructive.  He is housebroken and even allows me to brush his teeth.  He is never far away from his people and definitely prefers people to other dogs.  However, he does snuggle with our male IG on a dog bed during the day and then sometimes goes off by himself to burrow under the throw on the couch. 

I think Slate would do best in an adult home where he will not be left alone for long periods of time.  He would benefit from the company of another small dog.  He does fine with the large dogs in his foster home but does not interact with them.

Slate craves attention and has a lot of love to give.  He deserves a home where that love will be reciprocated.
