Sophie’s owner said she was friendly, affectionate, and playful. And that she is. Good with dogs. Just a nice, gentle, little girl. She just wants to be your special girl. Follows you around the house

Too bad the owner didn’t pay attention to her health. Sophie's eyes were so matted she was bumping into the chain link fence when she arrived at her foster home. Eyes gunged up to the point of being sealed up.. Mats so thick we thought she had growths on her legs. Turns out Sophie is slightly sight and hearing impaired. She was spayed and had quite a few mammary tumors. The tumors were removed and has hopefully slowed the progression of cancer. Day after surgery she was flying up and down the stairs, playing ball (she prefers small, smooth balls) and checking out the great outdoors. She is an active, inquisitive little girl.

Sophie is a 9 year old, spayed, female, 7 lb yorkie mix. She is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, wormed and microchipped. Like most yorkie’s she has a long coat which needs to be maintained which her original owner neglected to do.
