My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in one of our dogs, please complete an application on line at www.ahome4everrescue.org

This is Wylie! This sweet 11 year old mini Poodle has been with us since February 2020, spending his time with an amazing foster.  Wiley came from a local shelter with two debilitated back legs. After multiple vet visits to seek out his diagnosis, it was identified that both of Wiley’s knees have severely subluxated patellas. Based on the severity and his age, surgery is not recommended. He will be on Gabapentin and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.   He cannot go for long walks and cannot climb stairs.

Ever since Wiley came to our rescue, he has been in great spirits and has a very loving and friendly disposition with his human but he does not do well with other dogs. He would make the best companion to a single person or retired couple looking for a companion

If interested in giving this sweet boy a loving home, please message us! muellenbergerin@gmail.com #adoptdontshop

Come meet our dogs on Saturdays at PetSmart in Costa Mesa from 11:30-2:30. All A Home 4 Ever Rescue dogs receive a wellness exam by our veterinarian and are up to date with vaccinations. They are spayed or neutered and microchipped before they go to their adoptive families. If you would like more information please email the Adoption Director at muellenbergerin@gmail.com

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with an application followed by an interview. If all goes well we will proceed with a home visit. At the time of the home visit we will bring the dog with us. If the home is safe, you will complete the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and we will leave your new family member with you at that time.

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are in Orange County on every Saturday. We also can make special arrangements during the week when it is impossible for someone to come on the weekends. Our goal is to pair up good pet parents with loving dogs in need.

More about this rescue

Our dogs are rescued from what is called "death row" at the city and county shelters, from a life abandoned on the streets, or from other situations of neglect and cruelty. While in our care they receive love, rehabilitation and medical care, if needed, and grooming. Since we are a small group, we are always in need of donations of any kind.
