Mya is 11 years. She came to us on 9/4.

Mya has 2 sides. A spunky go-go attitude on a leash outside and a quiet, soft demeanor inside. Mya is 11 years old and certainly looks a little rough right now, but her hair will grow back and you can tell she is a gorgeous dog with lots of love to give. Her hair was in knots, so we tried just taking the knots out, but she looked so patchy, a complete shave looked better and will grow in more evenly. She is on medicine to help with her healing process, but nothing is chronic at this time, so a little TLC and patience as she learns that you care is all she needs. This gorgeous lady is good with dogs, respectful children, and cats. She is good with all children, but since she is a little shy, respectful children will help her warm up faster in a household. She is not a play baby, she is a sweet older lady, so she needs equally lazy or non-intrusive dog companions. Again she loves everybody, but she does not need a puppy rough housing her. Great for an apartment.

Prior to adoption, all of our animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for heartworm (dogs), and placed on a monthly preventative, in addition to other necessary treatments.

Tuesday - Friday:: 12-6p.m.
â€‹Saturday:: 11-4p.m.

At FCHS, we commit to our animals; for this reason, all of our animals have a lifetime commitment from us. If an adoption does not work out, for any reason, we ask that all FCHS animals be returned to our facility.
