Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome guy is Huey. He's a super sweet and loving pit bull and chocolate lab mix. He's probably about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. He was in foster care for a couple of weeks but they were unable to keep him due to their work schedule. But we learned that Huey is very loving and smart and is house trained. He has been neutered, had his vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and is on heartworm preventive.
Huey is playful but also calms down easily and can be sensitive and a real snuggle bear. He'd be great for anyone that really wants to shower love and affection on their furry friend. Huey has also done well around the female dogs at the Rescue, but is more jealous around the male dogs, especially larger male dogs. We absolutely love playing with Huey and loving on him because he is so smart and adorable.
Based on Huey's size and playfulness, we think a house would be the best setting for him, rather than an apartment. Though, an apartment might work if at least 1 of the owners was home most of the time to provide walks and playtime outside.
