Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rico!
This handsome boy was rescued from the mountainside in Puerto Rico where he was longingly searching for love and care. He was extremely malnourished and down on his luck, but our rescue took him in and he's now extremely healthy and happy!
Rico is currently finishing up a board and train program in Eugene, OR where he has been working on his polite leash walking and social skills.
Right now, with input from his trainer, we believe Rico would do best as an only dog in the house and it should be no cats for this guy. We're spending more time getting to know his needs, but we do think it could be possible for Rico to live happily alongside a female dog of equal or greater size. A family with respectful children 10 years or older would be ideal.
Rico has SO much love to give. He loves to be active and get out and about, but afterwards there's nothing quite like a big lap to cuddle up in! He's a big baby, just looking for the life he has always deserved.
Rico has been neutered and he's up to date on all vaccines. We believe a family who is experienced with bully breeds would be a best fit for Rico. We believe he is about 4 years old and is approximately just under 60 lbs.
