My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous Aussie/Beagle Mix Cali is still looking for her furever home. Cali just turned 1 yr old and is a super lovable girl who need a special home that understands rescue dogs need time & love to become family.

While Cali's confidence is always growing, she is still anxious & not a huge fan of men, but she has been doing better! She likes my husband when laying or sitting down and she really loved a teenage boy that came to visit. Cali loves all other dogs regardless of size, age or grumpiness. While she is full grown at 35 lbs, she is still very much a puppy and would do best with a furry brother or sister that can play with her and keep her exercised.

Since she is a "girl's dog", we would love for her to have a mama that continues to help her confidence grow and MUST have patient men in the house to earn her trust. Cali is unsure of small children and with her puppy energy and paws (she is super wiggly at first when cuddling and uses for paws to request attention), she would do best in a home with older children/teenagers.

Our perfect home for Cali would have a fenced in yard because she loves running around the backyard, sunbathing and "chasing" birds in the air. She is doing much better on walks, but needs a patient person as she definitely has a beagle nose.
