This guy needs a new home and fast. Meet Houndy, he is about 9 months old and was born with a birth defect that rendered him blind. His eyes are small and set deeply into his head but he doesn't seem to mind. Dogs are not known for their sense of sight so he gets around just fine. He ended up at animal control with 2 cherry eye infections and a hernia but he is all fixed up from that and is heartworm negative. Houndy weighs about 45 lbs. and gets along with other dogs and cats. However, the foster home who is caring for him now has a chow with an attitude problem and he keeps going after poor, blind Houndy. Please call us to meet this cheerful fellow and see if you can find a spot in your family for him.
