My dad was given Toby as a puppy after my mom passed away 5 years ago, and is the brother to our own dog that we got at the same time. Recently my dad has experienced some health issues that have made it so he needs to move and cannot take Toby with him, but we can't keep him because I found out I was allergic to dogs after getting our own dog- I am not willing to give up our pup, but can't go through the health issues of having to acclimate to a new dog.
Toby is an intelligent, obedient, fun-loving dog that loves treats, getting love and attention, and loves to play. He loves kids- my 8 year old wrestles with him and has never been hurt. He does well with other dogs. My dad limited Toby's access to the house, so anyone who takes him would need to work with him on appropriate behavior with furniture and inside the house. While not showing signs of aggression, he has shown that he marks his territory. He would come with whatever food he has, treats, collar, and dog house.
