My story

Loki is a courtesy posting- He is currently with his owners. Hello! Loki is a loveable adult male Husky who needs a good home. He is full of energy and he loves to talk to you. He is house and crate trained, up to date on all of his shots, neutered, and on Revolution for fleas/ticks, etc. What Loki needs is a family that understands Husky’s and will love him. Your love will be reciprocated a thousand times. When we first got Loki he was covered in fleas, his fur was dull, and he was severely malnourished. He is now about 70 lbs, there is no sign of a flea anywhere, and he has the most beautiful, shiny coat. His eyes are very expressive and he loves for you to have conversations with him. He is super intelligent and can open doors and sometimes he’s like Houdini. Loki is very motivated by treats or food and knows basic commands like sit, leave it, down, and he understands the word ‘no’ although sometimes he likes to ignore it. We’re working on high-fives and shake a paw, but he gets confused on that one and always rolls over. He is good around other dogs as long as they’re not little. We have a 40 lb dog, 2 cats, and 2 chinchillas and he is great with the dog, good with one cat, ok with the other, and he really wants to ‘play’ with the chinchillas. He will watch the birds outside, loves to go for walks, and will sit with you in the chair and cuddle. He has many toys that we refer to as ‘babies’ and he carries them around ever so gently in his mouth. Loki really needs a family that will love him and can spend time with him and give him the attention he deserves.
