My story

You won’t find a sweeter or more gentle dog than Harli, a lovely, doe-eyed beauty who is a 40-45 lb. Golden Retriever mix. Harli’s family recently surrendered her because they could no longer take care of her, and while they told us she lived with them for 10 years, there is nothing “old” about this sweet gal—her eyes are clear, she is strong and sturdy, she may need a bit of dental work, but is looking forward to many more good, active years. Harli is housebroken but still needs to be spayed. In her previous home Harli lived with adults, children, and other animals without any issues. At the shelter she is quiet and calm in her kennel, and she just loves to be loved. Harli would make a wonderful companion for just about anyone, but her unassuming, gentle, affectionate spirit might be a special gift for an older person who is just craving some quiet company.
