This is a courtesy posting for BARK.



Cletus is a 2 year old, male Coonhound who recently came to BARK. This boy was pulled from a shelter where he was going to be put down due to lack of space.


If you are looking for a total character, as you can see from his picture, this maybe the boy for you! He is learning how to live as a good boy and learning manners in his foster home with other dogs and his foster mom. He does great with other dogs and people. He is an all around sweet boy. He is not very fond of baths, however! He's got low grooming requirements due to his very short coat. He is housebroken and ready to come to his new home!
Cletus is learning to walk on a leash, and all those other fun things good boys know. He is starting obedience classes soon and we will update with his progress!


Please research the Coonhound breed to determine if it is a dog that will fit well with your family! They are gentle, loving dogs with a drive to follow their noses! They typically love children and attention of any kind and Cletus is no exception! They are extremely intelligent but can be stubborn. A lot of good mental and physical stimulation would be great for Cletus!
