This gorgeous sweet girl, Suki, is just 3 months old, but already 20 Lbs. Her breed mix is unknown, but guesses have been maybe some Anatolian Sheppard and/or Saint Bernard in her? Best guess is she will be an Anatolian Sheppard size full grown, 80 Lbs or more.
She’s timid with people, but once she warms up she’s all snuggles. Once comfortable with you, she can also be pretty talkative. Her adopter(s) will need to understand positive social exposure and interactions a this stage in her development are going to be key. She loves other dogs and toys. She’d do well with a confident canine companion to show her the ropes.
Suki needs a family who has the time, patience, and energy to help her grow into a confident and well round family addition. Given a puppies training and socialization needs, a home where she will be left alone for long periods of time will not be considered. Given her size, preference will be given to a home suited to her size and one with a big yard.
While puppies are adorable, keep in mind they need a lot of guidance, commitment, and a whole lot of time and patience. They need continued socialization, help with house training, and outlets for chewing and youthful energy. Underdog Railroad HIGHLY recommends puppy socials and training classes.
All Underdogs are in foster homes and you MUST have an application on file to request a meet https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog Suki is being fostered in the Vancouver, WA, area.
Suki is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives for her age, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. She will need a booster DHPP vaccination after adoption. She is being adopted out under a spay agreement. Adoption fee is $425, plus a $100 spay deposit. The spay deposit will be refunded upon proof of spay. Because of Suki's potential size full grown, a copy of her spay certificate MUST BE PROVIDED to Underdog between 9-12months of age (up to 18mo. if a Vet recommendation is proved).
