My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lil Red is a 16 week mixed breed female puppy. She will probably be a smaller medium size. She has many traits of a Dachshund, but there are other breed mixes, as well. A few of her siblings look very hound-like.
Her and her siblings came to us from LA, before the hurricanes. They were all in bad shape, with various skin conditions. After lots of loving care, her and her siblings have their hair back and are ready for the next chapter of their furbaby life!
She is currently in a home with other dogs and a cat and is well socialized. She is even around Pot Bellied pigs! Her fosters use an xpen, rather than a crate, so she can be with her siblings. She should transition well to a crate, in her new home. She is working on potty training and utilizes a potty pad as well as learning to go outside. Lil Red is very loving and demands lap time with her humans. She is a quick learner and would be a wonderful family member.
Right now, she is being fostered in Tennessee. The rescue lists in areas where transport is available. They use safe USDA licensed dog transports that will bring her to their new family, once they are adopted! Once you send an application, the rescue will contact you for an interview and be able to send more photos and even videos
She is spayed and UTD on all required vaccinations. She is microchipped and on flea preventative.
