Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to the cute and fluffy fellow Benji. Benji got lost from home and landed in the shelter on 10/11. He has a micro-chip but when his family was contacted they did not come for him. Benji is a playful and happy fellow who would do well in a home with a nice yard so he could play ball and run around. He walks well on leash and would love a family who would take him on long walks. Benji is current on vaccines and micro-chipped. He will be neutered and tested for heart worms upon adoption. Benji is waiting in run 77 and his ID# is 625444. He is a nice size at 40 pounds and still a youngster at 2 years old
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
