My name is Sadie. I am a 3 yr old Lab mix spayed female and I’m heart worm negative. I’m a pretty laid-back girl and can be timid at first, but it’s only because I’m scared. All I have known for the past three years is a dirty kennel. I was left with huge amounts of food at times which resulted in me being very overweight. Of course I would need a home to help me continue the journey of getting to my skinnier self. I have enjoyed the company of everyone I’ve met. I have a sweet gentle soul I just need that person I can share that love with the rest of my life. I do get excited and don't know how big I am, but I have not known any different. So would probably best with older children in the house. Since being rescued I am learning what it’s like to be a spoiled queen. At my foster home I have been good with all the dogs here big and small. I haven’t totally been cat tested. I want to play, but my energy just isn’t where it needs to be right now I need to continue to get some exercise. I have a low energy level right now but I think the healthier I get, the better I will feel. I love being a couch potato and I love doing it next to my person. I’m doing really well with my crate training, so that would make House training me super easy. I may require a fence because my curiosity can get the best of me. My foster mom says that I am very smart and I listen pretty good and come when I'm called. If you think you are the family for me, don’t hesitate to contact us!
