Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nemo Jackson may not be the handsomest dog you've ever laid eyes on, but he's one of the sweetest. He's a gentle dog who leans on you for love, and he's well-mannered: He knows "sit" and "stay" and probably other commands. Nemo Jackson came into the shelter on Oct. 11 as a lost dog with ID, but his family did not come to claim him. He is about 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. He hasn't been neutered yet but the vet will see him soon. He is up-to-date on immunizations and will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Come meet him in Run 81 using ID# 625453.
Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
