Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a sweet, sweet dog! It is hard to believe his family did not turn over every stone looking for Homer. He is well behaved, sits, stays and lays down as soon as told. He loves to play ball and will make someone a great new best friend. Homer came into the shelter as a lost dog on Oct. 7 and his family did not find him. He is young, about a year old, and weighs 47 pounds. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, now neutered, heartworm tested negative and will be microchipped upon adoption. Come meet him in Run 18 using ID#625374.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
