Cheeeeeeese! 📸 Okay, posing for all these pictures is hard work. I’d rather just talk about myself! I’m a big talker. When you’ve lived as long as I have, you get a lot of stories to share. Some of my paperwork says I’m 10 years old and some says I’m 15. Maybe I’m 13, I don’t know. Anyway, my name is Reuben. I had a home, but a few weeks ago, my mommy had to go to the hospital. She was there for a while and I was really worried. I couldn’t even eat! Not exactly the best way to diet, I’ll tell ya that. She’s okay now, but she had to move into a nursing home and I couldn’t go with her.

So I came here! I’ve only been here for a few days, but I swear everyone is already obsessed with me. There’s so many people to talk to and cuddle. Some people even picked me up and held me! Oh man, it was awesome. I love it here. It’s like I’ve been here forever already. Except I don’t actually wanna be here forever. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great, but it’s not a home. I miss having a person. I want someone to sleep with and watch tv with and talk about our days with and hang out with. I know a lot of people are worried about adopting old men like me, but I can guarantee I have more life in me than most of these young’uns! I’m super energetic and charming and healthy and wise and funny and lovable (I could go on all day) and I just know you’d fall in love with me if you met me. I won over every single person I met this weekend! I promise I’m the one for you. So what are you waiting for? Come meet me!
