Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It is with a heavy heart that we have to rehome Max. He is a mixed breed (breeds unknown but possibly sheepdog), 75 pounds and about six years old. Max is very intelligent, active, house broken, loves to play fetch and lay around the house. He enjoys running along side a runner, bicycle or a scooter. He is affectionate with all members of the family and loves human contact. Max walks well on a leash but is not off-leash trained. He doesn't shed much if at all but needs brushed once every week or two. All in all, Max is a good, active and healthy dog.
Max has been a part of our family for five years and has been a great companion. We've come to the decision to rehome Max because he has bitten our six year old son twice but has not shown aggression to other members of our family including 3 other young children. We believe that the cause was most likely loud noises and commotion that stressed Max. For this reason, we will only adopt him to a home with no children or older children.
