Located near Ann Arbor, MI

Tucker was an owner surrender, through no fault of his own, due to another pet in the home starting to bully him.

Tucker is a blind and deaf double merle who loves to snuggle and meet new people. Tucker is very laid back and enjoys trotting around the yard and greeting any visitors with a sniff. He gladly shares a house with cats and dogs but would be better suited to a home that does not have small children. He is a large boy (87 lbs) and quickly finds his way in mapping out the house and yard.

Tucker knows signs for sit, lay and stairs and uses doormats as touch signals for steps. At times he growls and barks but this is never in aggression but a sign that he wants outside, he wants to meet the new smell that has come in the house (when guests arrive) or he is very excited to have his toy. He enjoys travel, once you help him in the car, but would need to have access to a fenced in area whenever he needs to do his business as he will not while on leash.

Tucker’s disabilities do not hold him back in life and he is happy to snuggle with you on the couch or in the garden and patiently teach you how to guide a blind and deaf dog. He is a very sweet boy and to know him is to love him.
