Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cobain is ready to find his new home! He still has to recover from heartworms treatments or a few weeks before he can come home.
Cobain is a 3-year-old male mixed breed dog. He appears to be primarily chow/ Shepard but we cannot guarantee any of our dogs’ breeds. He weighs about 50 lbs. Cobain was rescued from RCPCAS where he came in as a stray. We do not know much about his life before. Cobain is a super sweet and quirky boy. He loves people, even though he was a bit stressed when he came to us. He has gotten along great with his other foster siblings including several kitties (he is kind of scared of them actually). He is dog friendly but will do best with a dog that is respectful and isn’t overly rough. He does the funniest thing where he runs every time he leaves his crate (for no apparent reason) and it keeps us laughing. He will happily walk back in it within 30 seconds and do it again.
Cobain is a good boy and would be fine with older kids, other dogs, and cats. He does not like being roughhoused with and can be moody, so we do not recommend him for homes with small children. His adoption fee is $125 which includes vaccines, microchipping, neutering, and worming. To apply to pre-adopt Cobain please fill out this application link:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfNETxQc-3Wcqa606fuR0-6oSs5IxlILw50W1Z5FO46MWHKOw/viewform
After you apply please allow our adoption coordinator 24-72 hours to respond. When you are contacted, you will be told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. After everyone has had a chance to do a meet and greet we will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family. If you comment “interested” that does not count as an application. The form must be filled out for you to be considered. We are located in Auburn, AL.
