Please note we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they have been adopted. All of our dogs are located in foster homes in TX, so much is known about their temperment and personality.
To begin, I want to apologize for taking literary license with the name of the great 80's heavy metal band, Motley Crue. But what a great use of their famous name to help find a sweet Texas rescue dog a home!! The play on words is too much to resist...get it...I am a "Muttley" but I will always be on your "Crew"!!!! LOL!!!
Now, about me!! I am a super, super sweet and loving 5 month old Labrador Retriever/German Shepard hybrid...this unique combination of breeds is sometimes called a German Sheprador..another totally cool name for an exceptionally cool puppers!! I currently weigh in at 38 pounds, so will be a largish dog when fully growed...probably around 70-80 pounds.
I have energy for 'splorin' my universe, but I am not as full on as the Labrador. I am even tempered with my foster family and am loving and kind. I tend to be patient with the other dogs and am the submissive one in my yard . With my good nature and eagerness to please, I will make a great family dog; loyal and intelligent. I am also quite alert which will help me to watch over my hoomans. But, I am not excessively "Barky". By nature, I am very cheerful and friendly.
My shiny black coat is smooth and sleek; my dark brown eyes brim with enthusiasm and sparkle with a joy for life.
I walk well on the leash and am currently in a four foot high fence and don't try to climb or jump out. I try hard to be a "good dog", but am still trying to figure out what it is that makes hoomans happy!!
To borrow from Motley Crue once more:
